Our region has been voted one of the best in America. Our area boasts over 45 attractions, including the famous Dollywood and hundreds of fantastic shops and outlets. Within just a few miles you can visit over 100 restaurants which are all conveniently located.

For those outdoor enthusiasts who love fishing and boating, our East Tennessee Counties border beautiful Douglas Lake and Cherokee Lake. Douglas Lake offers over 555 miles of shoreline and over 30,000 acres of lake surface and attracts over 1.5 million visitors per year. Some of the fish that are caught in Douglas are Black Bass, Walleye and Crappie to name just a few. Our beautiful Cherokee Lake is 54 miles long with over 400 miles of shoreline. The primary sport fish in Cherokee Lake are White Bass, Smallmouth, Largemouth and striped bass along with crappie and walleye.

For those of you who enjoy a great game of golf to relax, stop worrying. There are over a dozen challenging courses most with breathtaking vistas, lush landscaping, bridges, streams and ponds, not to mention a course fully lit if you would like to play in the evening. One thing is for sure, you will need to remember that we are in the mountains and some courses are slightly more challenging that you might be accustomed.
